The Cranes, has started the group stage of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with a match in Kumasi, Ghana. It’s 36 years now since Uganda last managed to make the grade for the Africa Cup of Nations finals. In our news series, ‘So Close Yet So Far’, we revisit five qualification campaigns that saw The Cranes come agonisingly close to breaking its continental football hoodoo.
